A leading professional in the word of accounting finance, Mr. Ranaweera serves as an independent director of a few PLCs, where he is also chairs the Audit Committees.He counts over 45 years of experience in the accounting profession.

He is the managing partner of Ranaweera Associates (Chartered Accountants) while serving as the Managing Director of Assent Advisory Partners (Pvt) Ltd, engaged in consultancy services (mainly in the fields of taxation, accounting & financial management, investment promotions and other business advisory sectors).

Further he is a consultant to Assent Secretarial Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, engaged in Company Secretarial services.

In addition to the audit practice, Mr. Ranaweera has a wide experience in tax, company secretarial services and in investment advisory and promotions.

He is a member of the Faculty of Taxation of CA Sri Lanka, while he was the alternate Chairman of the last Taxation Committee of the CA Sri Lanka.
